Looking to make shepherd's pie. What can I do with the ground chicken? Anyone have a recipe for that part? Don't want it too mushy/liquidy. Also after potatoes on top, How long to leave in oven? What temp?

Here's one from the Binah magazine from a while ago
Pastrami shepherd's pie
Chicken mixture
3/4 lb ground chicken
3 eggs
3/4 cup bread crumbs
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1/2 tbsp ketchup
1 clove garlic crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine chicken ingredients together
Spray 2 loaf pans with cooking oil
Divide the chicken mixture between the 2 pans. Lay slices of pastrami on top, and spread mashed potatoes to cover. Bake 350 for 50 min until chicken is baked through
This freezes very nicely

Potato chips, awesome recipe!
Do you freeze it together with potatoes??
If so, how do you defrost it?

Yes I freeze it with the potatoes. I defrost it in fridge overnight
