Anyone have a recipe? It's a chocolate cake with slight mocha flavor. Looking for an easy topping with oil.
TIA!

I don't know if this will work but I remembered a recipe I saw from Levana's cookbook and googled levana'sbabke and found this. I'm surprised that she suggests margarine. The cookbook studiously avoids it, IIRC.

This is a great recipe for a generic crumb topping (makes enough for a 9x13 pan):
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 generous pinch salt
1/4 cup oil
Mix the dry ingredients together, add the oil, mix (fingers work best!) until it resembles crumbs.

Thanks!
Can I put that crumb topping on once the cakes are baked?
Even if I can't use it now (cakes are in my freezer) I'll save it for another time. My usual crumb topping has cinnamon and goes better with vanilla. This looks more versatile.

No, you can't put in on baked cakes; it won't stick to them (and it needs to be baked). I guess in theory you could bake the crumbs and glaze the cake and stick the crumbs on top, but I don't really see the point.
