Incidentally, a quick perusal of research on the topic reveals something interesting. There are those who say that marriage is not the solution for many poor single moms, because the type of men they are in contact with come with too many problens (incarcerated/addiction/abuse etc).
The situation is far more complex than saying if only these ladies were more 'traditional' everything would work out. Statistics can't be read so simply.

I suppose she means it's going too far today. Which is definitely in true in some circles, while others still have a long way to go...

Just curious. Does this rebbetzin belong to yeshivish circles? Where women supporting kollel husbands is the ideal?
Because if so it puts an ironic spin on things....
