Because you just never know.

Story from today, about a leading figure who has been trying to get the courts to permit doctors to prescribe lethal drugs to terminal patients, and has a terminal illness.

Here's how it starts.

A retired Falmouth doctor’s right-to-die lawsuit may have gotten a bit more complicated, but for good reasons.

Defying the odds, Dr. Roger Kligler’s most recent blood tests show the levels of his metastatic prostate cancer have significantly declined, opening up the possibility that he could possibly live for many unexpected years.

In any event it would be wicked to pray for a person's death. Nobody has the right to do that. What we pray for is relief from their suffering. We leave it up to KBH to decide what form that relief will take.
