I saved this recipe from Binah last year and would like to make it for Purim. There is half a cup of bourbon in the marinade (and soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, vinegar) and then it is roasted for an hour. I was wondering if anyone has made it and if it was good? I don't cook roasts often and don't want to ruin an expensive piece of meat. Also, in general if you roast meat in bourbon, does it end up tasting like bourbon? Or is it more of a subtle smoky effect?
