Is this considered an "out of town" camp or is it more "jappy" even though it's in the Midwest?

I had heard maarava is more jappy. I am very interested in this thread. I thought Agudah midwest girls is BY OOT... was thinking of it next year for my daughter. Others, please post your thoughts.

I think amw is more ny and more jappy.
Maarava has buses coming in from ny, lakewood, and passaic- so not too oot.
Both are under Agudah Of Illinos.

I’m not sure why you would think this. Most Detroiter prefer AMW, very few girls here like jappy anything.

Which one has more welcoming atmosphere? easier to make friends if you go without friends?
Bnos M has people from Lakewood and pasaic and what else? is this in town or OOT?
AMW has campers from where?
What is the hashkafa? yeshivish?

Both camps have girls from the Midwest and tristate area. Maarava is a little more yeshivish than AMW

My girls go. It's definitely more OOT than NY camps. Very friendly. My girls have friends from all over the place. There are plenty of girls from NY but I don't think it's very jappy at all.
There are group flights from the NY area. No one takes a bus.
