I need to outfit my whole house with blinds.
I've been told that roller blinds are in. Are they? Are they difficult to use?
And how about silhouette blinds for certain rooms that need more flexibility than just up and down? Are they still in?
And then there is cellular - I like the idea for the bedrooms, because they can be opened from the top. But are they still in?
I'm not overly concerned with the latest fashions, but I do want to make a good investment, and feel up to date, especially as there is a possibility that we could put the house on the market in a few years.
Any advice?

Yes, I was considering those, but the silhouette seem more versatile in terms of light filtering.
And I was also wondering how easy the zebras are to operate.
