Trying to decide if I should buy this for my kids as a new game for Pesach.
What age would like it? Or other suggestions of a good board game? We already have Ticket to Ride and they really like that! They're not so into games like Bananagrams..

Yes - this is an AWESOME game! My kids love it (and so do all the grownups in the family). How old are your kids? I think if they're old enough to enjoy ticket to ride, that they're probably ready for Settlers. They will have loads of fun.

The adults and kids in our family like it. If the kids want a parent to play a game they know this one is tempting.
There is a big learning curve - but once learnt its a great game.
My 8\9 year old plays it - doesn't get strategy so much.
My 6\7 year old is a bit young.

Thanks for the reviews.
To answer the question, this would be for kids age 7 thru teen.

It depends on your 7 year old. If this child already plays games like Ticket to Ride well, then I think they will be fine. My son was 7 when he began playing and enjoyed it, but he is a real strategic thinker and into games in general.
Splendor may also be a good choice. It's faster, rules are simple, and no reading required.
