This is what got us through 2 weeks of antibiotics not long ago, though I felt like a trained circus monkey doing it-
-The 5ml of medicine got diluted in about 3-4 times as much grape juice.
-For every 5ml syringe of the diluted medicine dd finished, she got a chocolate chip.
-While squirting the medicine into her mouth, I sang whatever she asked for. Lots of rounds of "Boom boom ain't it great to be crazy" and a few others. I stopped singing if she refused to open her mouth.
By the end of the course she was asking for it since we'd made it fun enough and she's in love with chocolate. Substitute some treat of similar size if he's allergic to something in the chocolate chips.

Applesauce? My then 2 year old kid took it with that. Added benefit is vitamin c. It hid the taste.
Or I even squirted it onto the bread of the sandwiches I served...just need to make sure they eat it all!
