Decided I want to get something for the kids to listen to. Searched MostlyMusic.com and it seems like the choices are Uncle Moishy https://mostlymusic.com/produc.....08561 and Yitzy Erps https://mostlymusic.com/produc.....98965

From the preview clips - Frankly both of them sound like the voices will grate on my ears very quickly.

What do you recommend? In terms of kids enjoying and chinuch value, and also relatability (some Jewish kids media is so cultural! Like a Shabbos tape that goes all out on how Shabbos Gefilte Fish is so special and we don't eat gefilte fish...random example)

Truthfully I could get both for $15 total but I think I want to start with one Smile

Do your kids speak yiddish? If yes there are many choices.

It wasn't available on Mostly Music, but now that you mentioned it I googled and it looks like you can get it elsewhere. You like that one?

I'm not into Rebbe Alter.

I like Paul Zim's pesach cd. Should be available on mostly music, Amazon, and iTunes. I enjoy listening to it.

We love, love, love Yanky and the Pesach Seder by Yitzy Erps. Some songs you may know like Vehi She'amda...the songs are great, the rhymes are kind of funny (in a we laugh at them kind of way) and my husband and I can quote the entire CD verbatim it seems like.

Another vote for Baruch learns about Pesach.
How old are your kids? That might make a difference.

4 and 6.

Rachel Shira, thanks for suggesting Paul Zim. Listened to some previews and it sounds like a nicely done rendition of the classics. I was looking for something with more content in between the songs but I really like his work and will definitely be looking out for it in the future as well.

And then I found this too: http://www.chabad.org/kids/art.....h.htm Very Happy

I just purchased both the uncle moishy one and the Yitzy Erps one from mostly music. I think I like the Yitzy Eros ones better it tells more about the story with some great songs my 6 year old and my almost 4 year really sat and listened to it. It is also much longer. I am not such of fan of Uncle Moishies newer cds... it is a very short cd and I don't like all the songs but it is catchier and simpler for younger children I teach 2 year olds and this was a better choice for my classroom.

I also play Chaim Baruch Alevskys cd both for my kids and class. It's not one of these amazing productions but has all the basics goes through the seder etc (similar to Paul Zim) and is very clear for the children. He also gives a simple intro to all the songs which is nice. You can listen to it on chabad.org to.

I like this one: https://mostlymusic.com/produc.....er-cd
No content, just songs. You can also listen free on chabad.org (http://www.chabad.org/kids/article_cdo/aid/487747/jewish/The-Seder.htm) but you have to click for each new song.
