Hi, I heard of this, and I am wondering how to do it? Which company is best/cheapest? Does it come out clear?
I want a number to send and receive a fax.
Don't need it for lots of faxing, just once in a while.

I use MyFax. It is great. Not sure home much it costs but I know it does. Maybe 10 dollars a month. You get a phone number and can send and receive faxes on your iPhone. I have had myfax for years. Used the computer. Now recently downloaded the app on my phone. When I need to send a fax I use an app called TurboScan where I take pics of the documents I want to send and then import it into the myfax app. So easy.
