My 13 1/2 year old daughter got her first period a little over a year ago. At first she got it every 3 weeks. Then she had longer cycles of about 2 months (just like me as a teenager) and the last 2 times she got her period it lasted for only a day. Is this normal?

I think it's something to ask the doctor about but not stress over. Teenage bodies do strange things.

Mine was quite erratic as a teenager as well, went for months without getting it, hardly got it at all in seminary, have had no real trouble having children B"H. Don't stress over it too much.
