Too late to get one washed for pesach?

Is it too late for me to get a sheitel washed and done before Pesach? Will I sound crazy calling to make an appointment? How far in advance do people usually call to book to get theirs done for Pesach?

Who cares if you sound crazy? Can't hurt to ask.
From my experience, the most popular sheitel machers are already booked but the less popular/newer ones will likely be happy to do it for you.

Not everyone makes pesach. Maybe call a younger one who is likely to be going away to parents and has more time.

First try your regular. Ask if she knows someone you can call.
Then try people advertising. Ask how long doing it.
(Mine is only making appts until the end of next week and then starts vacation - many making Pesach do that so older people are booked but I'm sure younger are still available)

Do you have a local hair salon that does sheitels? They are often more flexible.

Mine accepted my wig much closer to pesach (at least they did last year) but I didn't have an appointment and had it done off my head.
I'm guess if if you want an appointment where they touch it up on you it might be harder to find someone since lots of people already booked appointments.
