If you see a missed call on your phone and you are not sure who it is, do you call the number back or just ignore?

Depends on my mood and if I suspect I know who it is or what it's about.

Usually ignore. Unless I'm really unoccupied, and in a curious mood.

Ignore. If its someone who is trying to reach me, they will call back.

Ignore.
If it's important enough, they can leave a voicemail.

One more question,
Do you think it's strange to make the call back.

Ignore unless I'm waiting for a call from a Dr's office or someone important. I have it all the time that people call me back if they missed my call and weren't sure who it was

I usually call back if I can/remember. Many a time it is from a client of mine who is calling from a different number - house or cell that I don't have saved in my phone. Sometimes it's a telemarketer.

My rule is that if it is important, they would have called back or left a VM.

If a person is too lazy to leave a message, s/he doesn't deserve a return call, and if it's important to the caller, s/he will call again. Most of the time it's robocalls, schnorrers, scammers, pocket dialers and wrong numbers, anyway.

Not strange, just pointless and a waste of time.

I usually research the number to see if it's spam. Some of these phone numbers incur a fee of you call back.

Usually ignore. If they wanted a call back, they should have left a message.

I just check on the internet. Most of the time it's just phone solicitors. With solicitors I go to my carriers website and block the numbers.

I call back if it is in my area code. When it is Wyoming or something, it is usually a telemarketer.

I have called numbers back when they leave a specific [timely] message for a specific person & they dialed wrong or otherwise had my number as opposed to the dxh's house
