I've never heard of such a thing. Why would you think so? If there was, I'm sure all the people there would have mentioned it, and I'm sure they would have quickly shut it down to keep out all the frum people moving there that they don't really want.

I don't know anything about NJ but I know that in Bklyn someone with low income can technically qualify for a grant but their low income would hold them back from covering a mortgage and getting approved for one.

My friend bought in Lakewood with this grant. I don't know details - she mentioned it briefly to me.
