Dd's shoe has a hole on the top by the stitching. The shoemaker is not accepting shoes till after yt and she needs them fixed. Any ideas what to do temporarily?

Buy her new shoes?
How big is the hole? Maybe she can stills wear them?
But I agree with above. Go to a gentile owned/operated shoemaker

You can sew it yourself. If you have the needle from the necklastic, that is very good for this. If not a regular needle would do.

Buy her a $5-10 pair of shoes at Walmart or other cheap shoes. It's always helpful to have a backup pair anyways.
