You can go biking or boating, in central park. If they still have the horse drawn carriages you can go on that. YOu can visit the 9/11 museum and memorial. Or, you can go to the empire state building, or statue of liberty.

We went to Central Park today and had a great time. We went rowing, got caricatures drawn of ourselves and just enjoyed walking around. Prospect park has boating too as well as an ice skating rink though I'm not sure if it's open now.
