Im trying to update whatsapp but it just says download pending

You have to erase as many videos and photos as you can. If its an Android aka not an iPhone then you can add a micro sd card (make sure its the maximum size your phone can handle

I finally got it... I googled it again...I had to delete cache and clear data from play store and download manager then force stop both
