Does anyone live in Leeds, UK?
What's it like? Which are the Jewish areas? Which are the areas to avoid?

I don't live there but I have a close relative who does.
There is one main Jewish area, in North Leeds. Not sure exact area though but I assume it is where the shuls, kosher shop, schools etc is. There are 2 schools I think, a chabad one called menorah school which is very small and another less frum Jewish primary school, don't remember the name. I think they just opened a Jewish High school recently but I know nothing about it. Manchester is only 1 hour away so kids often go from there to high schools in Manchester. (Thats what my relative does)
I think there is one shop, a bakery and a cafe.
As I said, Manchester is very close so you can go there for shops and restaurants.
My impression is the frum community is very small. I know the chabad community and there are probably about 10 families. Other frum families might live there for kiruv/rabbonus positions. But you really need to talk to someone who lives there.
Lots of muslims there too but I don't know how much of a concern they are.
