We bought a new frigidaire refrigerator before pesach. The first few days was fine. After that, every few hours this loud harsh sound comes on for a few seconds and then stops, it almost sounds like paper or something else is stuck in a motor that's running. But I don't know for sure. Does this sound normal?

Ice machine? Or maybe your old one ra the time and you just notice when this one turns on

We had a similar thing. The fan had iced over. The store we bought it from a tech came back and fixed it.
Regardless, a new fridge should be under warrantee.

we don't have an ice machine in the new one or old one. It's still under warranty, so maybe I should call them.

Why wouldn't you call if it were under warranty? Is there something here I'm missing?

It's a hassle, I have so many other things to take care of, I figured I would ask if this could be normal before calling.
