Any suggestions for a camera for a 9 year old boy, ( earning it as a prize for Weeks of doing a program)
Dont want to spend too much money.

For a 9-year-old, I would check Canon's refurbished offerings. They're refurbished by the company and come with a company-backed warranty, but are often much cheaper than buying new.

You can also check Ebay, and specify that the condition be "manufacturer refurbished," or if you're okay with it, "seller refurbished" if the seller has an excellent reputation and offers a reasonable warranty (at least 90 days).
