Vacuum the floor before cleaning it. I use a spray bottle with Mr clean & wash with paper towels. No reusing dirty water.....
I learnt it from my cleaning lady

Vacuum! If u are in Israel, my mil buys this great item- it's a disposable wipe mop that gets all dirt, hair etc
Op I feel you the hair drives me mad. One day after I clean it, it's dirty again

What is the name of that wipe mop? Where did she get it?

Change the tiles! Unless you're renting . If you own it it's worth the money not to have a lifetime of every hair I had that in the country once we had to mop three times a day
They even make peel and stick on stunning tiles these days
Get a faux marble

If you live in Jerusalem Israel then a top floor will be dustier.
Also ignore the dust. Don't obsess over it. Its not germs.

Op here.
I vacuum before! Still, sometimes when washing the floor, dirt comes off and end up on mop which gets moved around. I wish they made something that softens the dirt and then vacuums. Maybe I'll try Swifter.
I am renting! The tiles are beautiful but very impractical. I see everything.
But even so also around sinks and bathtubs dust gathers and with shmattas(trying to be economical) yet it leaves residue. I guess I have to keep using bounty.

Use two microfiber shmattas. One damp/wet to get the stuff off, and a dry one to sine and pick up the residual lint.
