Hi my husband accidentally bought pickled top of the rib roast instead of regular.. I've never cooked pickled roast before, I don't even know what it is exactly lol.. can someone please give me a specific recipe ASAP? It's 3 lbs... Thanks!!

I use it and call it corned beef. Boil for a few hours. Cool. Slice. Reheat in any sauce. I do a mustard sauce.

Do I boil it in the vacuum packed plastic bag it came in or remove?

Remove roast from bag. Place in pan. Add water almost to cover. You can add some halved garlic cloves and bay leaves if you'd like. Cover tightly. Bake at 300 for 3 hours (for a 3 pound roast). Slice and serve.
