Avoid buying toys made in China. Many products from China including children's toys and, crayons and jewelry are loaded with dangerous levels of lead and other heavy metals.

And are most likely produced laborers who make a pittance a day and may often be children.

All the reasonably priced toys in Israel are from China, so I might as well go to the source and cut out the extra 10 NIS (minimum) per item.
