What is considered a normal price for an upsherin haircut? I just called someone And was told between 40 and 50 based on the haircut and the child's behavior - I just wanted to know if that is normal?

Why should it be any different than a regular haircut? We took him to the barber. Don't remember exactly how much, but I think 15-20. Brooklyn.

I did my 3 boys on my own. For my first I didnt quite know what I was doing, and a hairdresser friend fixed it for me, by the time we got to number 2 and 3 it was no big deal, did it myself at home after everyone left, and stuck the kid straight into the bath. The machine is cheaper than a haircut, by now I'm doing 4 haircuts every other month, it's cheaper to buy a new machine each time, not that I need to - just bought a new one after 3 years cuz a kid knocked it over and it broke.

I also did my nephew and a friend's kid for free.
