What footwear are people wearing

I wear what I can walk in comfortably, without looking too much like a bubbe.

My all time favorite shoes are Naot, my second favorite are Ecco. There's tons of styles to choose from, and I can walk all day in them without getting backaches. They are NOT cheap, but IMHO they are worth every penny. Sometimes you can find closeout styles on Ebay for at least half price or less.

I love the European sizing, as it is more accurate than US sizing. Google for a conversion chart if you're not sure.

For winter, I have shoes in black, dark brown, and dark gray.

For summer, my shoes are tan, pale beige, white, and light gray. Black, depending on the outfit, but not so often.

Bonus: Naot are made on a kibbutz in Israel! When you buy them, you support us. Ecco used to be made in Denmark, but now they are made in China.

PS: Ecco used to fit like Naot, but now they run more narrow. If you have wider feet, for sure go with Naot. Narrow feet will do better in Ecco.

I haven't kept tabs on what the absolute latest is in footwear, so I would suggest buying a shoe that is both classic and trendy, as well as comfortable... A nude colored lace up ballet slipper type of idea is cute, or just a cute nude flat with an ankle strap. Happy shopping. Tongue Out
