Hi Beautiful Bakers
I am looking for some kid friendly whole grain cookies, bars, muffins, cake recipes that use honey, or apple juice concentrate, or maple syrup as a sweetener. They would have to be sweet enough for kids used to sugar. It doesn't help if they also have sugar. I have enough of those.
Thank you

Older posts at Weelicious (when her kids were younger) have baked goods made with honey or agave. Search through her stuff.

Elanaspantry has a ton too but mostly gluten free.

I bake with only honey. Maple syrup. Sucanat.or once in a while brown rice syrup. I will try to write recipes later on.

Blueberry muffins
Cup honey
Cup oil
2 eggs
1Tsp vanilla
Pinch salt
1 Tsp baking soda
2-2.5 cups flour
Blueberries mix in

Bake in 350
I made up this recipe. I add rice dream or almond or soy milk to thin out if needed.

Maple syrup thumbprint cookies

Cup ground almonds
Cup oats
Cup whole wheat flour
2/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup oil
Cinnamon

Make balls. Put in thumbprint. Put jam in it. Bake in 350 ( also made up so don't know if proportion is 100%)

Vanilla cookies
Cup oil
Cup honey
2 eggs
Tsp Vanilla extract
1.2 yo 2 cups (ww flour)
Tsp baking soda

Drop onto cookie sheet or roll balls and bake at 350.
Can add in raisins. Coconut. Nuts. Chocolate chips. Etc

I use sucanat in oatmeal cookies from Quaker box

Carob brownies in purple cookbook are amaxing. I leave out nuts

Can post more soon

I just use honey instead of sugar all the time and it's fine. Just use a little less
