I am driving 2 hours, up to Paramus / Jewish Federation of North NJ & would like to get something to eat & something for the family dinner before I turn around & drive home.

Any good resteraunts for take out near Paramus?
Any fancy Kosher grocery stores near by with prepared foods like this "Pomegranate" that I see advertised in all the Jewish magazines?
Or other local groceries with a good prepared Kosher food section under a mashgiach?

Thanks.

Cedar Market and Best Glatt on cedar lane in Teaneck with take out sections. Glatt Express is on W Englewood in Teaneck and grand & Essex is in Bergenfield (can't recall st). All have take out counters. There is also maadan.

Cedar market doesn't have much takeout. Grand and Essex in Bergenfield has a lot. There are also at least 20 kosher restaurants with takeout available in teaneck.

Seasons in Clifton is the closest to Pomegranate in the North Jersey area. It's huge, has a really great selection including a big takeout counter, tons of dips... I also love their pre-seasoned/ready to cook meats chickens and fish. It cuts out the prep but is much more fresh than takeout. There are a lot more restaurants in Teaneck, there's only a few casual places in Passaic but a lot of the food won't taste anywhere near the same after sitting out for 2 hours.

Give us an idea what you want, and we'll give suggestions.

If you like sushi, I like Cedar Market a lot better than Sushi Metsuyan.

You need to order at least 24 hours in advance for Maadan.

I have no idea. I guess nicer dairy. Sushi sounds good too.

I will look at the map to see how close Clifton is.

Thanks everyone.
