How much do you pay a month to send your 2 year old to a licensed daycare from 9 to 4:15. Please specify if you are receiving CHS subsidy or not. I currently receive CHS and I want to see if I am overpaying or not.

Thanks in advance

Almost none of the daycares in Lakewood are licensed by the state. See this link for a list of licensed daycares. https://data.nj.gov/childcare_.....08701

I was under the impression they all had to become licensed in order to comply with the federal regulations to receive the subsidy. I guess I will change this to legal daycares

A lot day care centers are getting licensed now. They had over a year notice to get things ready after CHS changed their rules to require a license.

I pay 750 a month for my 18 monthold. I don’t qualify for Chs. Combined with my kindergartener in the same day care I pay 1300 a month.
