How do you light your house for Shabbos? Do you use a timer for lights or just leave lights on for all of Shabbos? Which rooms do you keep lights on in? Just curious  .

I keep all living room/dining room/kitchen lights on, no timer. We actually have one lamp that we only turn on on Shabbos. So I always kind of feel like my house has a special shabbos glow.

We keep common area lights on. So living room, dining room, kitchen and bathrooms stay on. Bedroom light stay turned off.

Bathroom lights on, kitchenette/living/dining room on a timer, bedroom lights off. We get tons of natural light everywhere but the bathroom, and even there enough that I don't always turn on the light in the middle of the day on weekdays.

Living room/dining room on timer. Kitchen and bathrooms on. Kids closet lights on so I can see their stuff and it can light their room but can be closed off and shabbos lamp in my room

We are in Israel and own in a development where it is all religious, so the electric box was made so that when we put the timer on the entire apartment, the bathroom lights stay on. And we also leave a lamp on in the living room.

Bathroom & hallway light always stays on.
Kitchen, dining & living room lights all on timers.
Bedroom lights off. But there are night lights in all the bedrooms.
