The man-with-van I used in the past recently informed me that he isn't able to do me this year. The others I called only do full truckloads for several hundred dollars each. I have just a few boxes and two little kiddie bikes and would love to spend $200 or less to get it to the country this week (next Sunday would also be acceptable but this week preferred.)
Does anyone here know anyone who might do this kind of job?

That's the place that would only take a whole or half truck full, which is much more than I need, wouldn't let you share it with another family, and seems like every step they take is an extra charge. I'm considering it if I get really desperate but... meh.

I think they take what they call half a load and full loads, which either way is way less than half a truck. I heard they raised their prices quite a bit this year.

Their half load is about 3-4 times as big as I need and they don't let you share it so I'd be paying the full amount for much more than I need. No thanks

It was 15 boxes and then some - I forgot the details. Like 15 boxes PLUS bags and bikes and whatever.
