Have you made this recipe? I made it and there are two things that I'm flustered about:
1) The person who wrote it said it originally called for margarine but she uses oil. I used oil because of what she wrote, but I don't think oil works to hold this together.
2) There are no instructions about what to do with this after "cut while warm". Are you supposed to leave it at room temperature in the hope that one day it will harden? Are you supposed to put it in the fridge to harden? Freezer?
I put it in the fridge for an hour and tried to re-cut it where I had "cut while warm" and it was still much too soft to cut.
Please let me know if you have any experience with these O'Henry bars. Thanks.

I made these and having the same questions and problems. it's too soft to cut and it falls apart.
