Never heard of this series.
Are the books about birds, or is that the author's name?

What does dystopian fantasy mean?

Fall of the sun God by Henye Meyer is a fantastic book, Jewish but not heavy.

I didn't read this serial by E.G.S.
Was it written with a humorous tone?
Asking, b/c the title alone sounds humorous.

I didn't read it b/c I just didn't like the sound of the title. Connotations to idol worship.
I'm sure though that her book wasn't c'v based on avodah zorah.
I think I remember she said that the book was reprinted with a new title.
Henye Meyer is a fantastic writer. I happen to be acquainted with her b/c we're both on the Soferet group.
I remember when her serial in Hamodia was THE HIT, so many readers were raving about it. I liked that it was based on historical fiction. Anyone remember the title? It slipped my mind.
Something along the lines - "This is America". Something like that.
Miriam Zakon's most recent serial in Mishpacha - "FREEFALL", was absolutely fantabulous.
It was upsetting when it came to an end.
I heard that's one of the signs of a good book: when the author leaves the readers hungering for more.

It's his book - Tales Out of Shul, that I was referring to that I enjoyed reading; it was years ago.
Do you read their columns in Mishpacha?
I enjoy the style of writing of both Rabbis. |
Yes and me too.
