I have heard that it's best to use only soap and water on quartz countertops, however I find it leaves water stains and a dull finish. Would love to use Windex but afraid to ruin my new counters. Any advice or other ideas?

Here's a great homemade mixture that is excellent for the counters:
Mix together 92% rubbing alcohol with an equal amount of warm water and add a few squirts of blue Dawn dish soap. Put in a spray bottle.

Very inexpensive and is great for counters, glass (works better than Windex) and stainless steel.

Yes, but it goes away quickly.

You wipe the counter dry & the whole thing evaporates right away. No problem with health, alcohol is in fact used to sterilize things. And what's wrong with it as far as kashrus goes?

I kind of wonder why people feel a need to go anonymous when discussing how to clean a counter.
