I think it was two weeks ago, or maybe even last week, that I read a recipe for peanut butter balls with chocolate in one of the weekly publications. It was on Shabbos so I couldn't pay much attention to it, but sure enough - now I can't remember where I saw it!
Does a/o know what I am talking about?

They totally are!
Chocolate nuggets (from Dining in)
3 cups rice krispies cereal
1 jar marshmallow fluff
3/4 16 oz pb jar
topping:
20 oz good quality baking choc
nut crunch or melted choc (white or other color)
mix nugget ing util well combined. with wet hands form mixture into 2" nuggets (I dip a cookie scoop in water and works great and quick)
melt choc. dip nuggets & sprinkle with nut crunch.
There are some variations to this recipe. Miriam Pascal has an interesting twist to this in her book "something sweet".
p.s. I add a little oil to the choc.
my sil makes it into a log for a different presentation.
This one I didn't taste though as allergic to oats.
No bake PB bites (from The Bulletin)
1/2 cup creamy PB or AB
1/3 c honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup old fashioned oats (raw)
2/3 cup toasted, sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 c ground golden flaxseed meal
6 tbsp mini choc. chip
stir together pb, honey & va.
add remaining ing and stir until evenly coated.
shape into 1" balls
transfer mixture to ref & chill till set.store in ref. in airtight cont.
Enjoy!

Sorry for the delay, here goes:
1 oz. dates
.4 oz almonds
.6 oz peanut butter (I use natural with peanuts as the only ingredient)
Blend and form balls. Freeze.
This is one portion, I multiply it on the scale and make like 10 times the recipe. Let me try and multiply it for you and convert it to cups.
1 cup dates
3/4 cup almonds
1/2 cup peanut butter
Correct me if I miscalculated.
If you are interested, I make cookies from dates too. A portion is a breakfast. Includes grains (oats) protein (eggs) fruit (dates) my daughter loves it and if she eats 2 I know she had a filling breakfast. I swear it tastes like chocolate chip cookies.
