Not even sure what forum to put this question in. Taking a vaction and we have a choice to do a VRBO or stay at hotel. There are 2 VRBO options- one is where the owner lives at his home full time and goes on vacation and rents his space. The other is just a full time rental/money maker.
So here is the question- why am I more skeeved out by renting from someone who lives there full time compared to an apt. being a full time rental . The two skeeve me out more than the hotel option which is way more expensive. In all these cases there are different people sleeping in the beds- of course there are clean sheets etc. but why do I get that yucky feeling from someone's apt than a hotel??? Anyone else feel this way?
