Can someone tell me the exact translation of this name? (Ideally a fluent Hebrew speaker/Israeli?) sources also appreciated. I've heard 2 different meanings for avigayil; one meaning G-d redeemed. Another meaning G-d rejoiced.

To dh and I Avigail meant that she if Hashems pride and joy the way she is. BH she is an amazing healthy girl. We chose the name when we were informed that there is a chance of having a SN child.
