What do you make ashes from? I use napkins and find we don't need a lot and I'm happy with that. Dd is not happy with napkins. I saw someone else suggest nori but my family would not be happy with that either. My mom used to use newspaper and I am horrified to make ashes with that.

we burn the toast and scrape the burnt off. and use that as ashes and sprinkle it on the egg and bread.
