If I can't do laundry til chatzos on 10 Av, can I sort and put in machine in the morning and set timer to start the machine after chatzos?

I thought this was going to be asking about a laundromat on Tenth Avenue. Is there a tenth avenue in borough park or Lakewood?

I think the issur is the actual washing, not the sorting. but im no rabbi. you can call a halachahotline and ask your question anonymously

I always sort my laundry during the 9 days and before chatzos. I don't think sorting is a problem.
I'm not sure about setting the timer though. You should ask a rav about that.
