Anyone who can advise?
We are a couple with no car, based in Jerusalem who would love ideas for day trips now during the summer in Israel. We would love ideas of places where there wouldn't be too much immodesty - all the beaches or water sites unfortunately are either separate which wouldn't be too much fun or mixed....
Are there any beaches or promenades that are quiet and peaceful where we could enjoy a picnic or walk without too many scantily clad people disturbing the view? It would have to also be accessible by public transport
It is too hot or major hikes - we love scenery though - any ideas suitable for a couple throughout the country would be really welcome.
Guided tours don't really appeal to us.....
TIA

Maybe a really rocky beach -- near Rosh Hanikra?
Honestly, it's >90F, most people are going to wear as little as possible.
You can go to a religious beach, but you can't spend time as a couple there.
Maybe in Caesaria?

I was going to suggest this. We went to Caesarea recently and the beach was quite empty. It's a beautiful beach, but the waters are too rough there to swim.

Im going to say that it is summer now and the majority of beaches are going to be full of scantily clad women and men. Thats just the nature of most beaches :/

Like they said above, try a beach that's not possible to swim in. Or go on a really rough day.

Even if the beach is non swim, the women will be scantly dressed.

When I visited FF in Nahariya last year, I went on a walk going north. There were a couple other people just walking, but it was empty. It's not sand, rather fine gravel. I think the water is not considered safe for swimming there.
I called dh to ask if it's okay to go barefoot and wade, he said yes because it's pretty deserted.
(Thanks FF, I miss you!)
