I went through infertility and the hormones messed up my metabolism for life.
I never had to diet beforehand and ever since, I struggle constantly with my weight.

You can do an IVF and then have your eggs frozen to be donated, which you can do that at anytime. That is called a frozen egg donation. As opposed to a fresh egg donation, where you get chosen to be an egg donor and then you start the IVF cycle so that yours and the intended mother’s cycles match.
