We are looking to relocate to the Five Towns Far Rockaway area. DH currently works in NYC and will keep his job. If we live in Nassau county how will that affect us tax wise. Will we still owe NYC income tax cuz DH works there or not? If not, will his job still withhold it from his paycheck and well get it back when we file or will his job just stop withholding it. I will be looking for a new job. Does it make any difference if my job is in NYC or not?

Only pay NYC personal income tax if you live there, or work for the city.
DH needs to give his boss form IT-2104.1
