Anyone have any tips about visiting Washington DC in one day?
Where to park and then how to get around?
Best use of our time or order in which to get things done?
Minyan info and how out of the way it is?
Anything else?

If you're staying in DC, the main minyan is at Kesher Israel in Georgetown. Check web site for times. Parking is really difficult, so I would just park one place, then walk/uber/subway the rest of the day. If it's not too hot, you can make a nice (longish) loop from the Capitol and Supreme Court through the Smithsonian to the Washington Monument, then Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, and the White House is also nearby. If it's too long of a walk, you can cut out some stops, or take a taxi from one end to the other. If you're going to places that are farther out like the zoo, you'll need a taxi or subway. There's a really nice restaurant there called Eli's I believe that you could go to for lunch or dinner.
