Are there any children's magazines that are appropriate for someone whose traditional or MO? Something with Jewish content but not Charedi/mishpacha/bina/ami?

I love these theads, I consider such magazines to be Yeshivish/Modern Yeshivish. Definitely NOT chareidi

If they're Yeshivish they're probably not what I'm looking for. Someone recommended Yaldah magazine but it's not in print anymore. Is there anything else like that?

Does Chabad put out anything in print? I find that their materials in general tend to have a less narrow appeal due to their kiruv activities.

I was impressed that the circle has a current events page or two. My six year old and I have been having some pretty interesting conversations lately. I didn't get the super sheltered feeling from it but what do I know.

Chabad doesn't have a regular magazine I don't think.

I write for the Circle. It is definitely a chareidi/yeshivish magazine (depending on your definition of the terms) - and it has terms and themes that an unaffiliated/traditional child would not understand - but it's very well-rounded and presents a lot of valuable information on current events, historical events, and interesting topics. There definitely are restrictions on what we can write (for example, not too much about current/future technology associated with smartphones or apps or anything like that) and it's carefully monitored, but I do think that it includes a lot of great reading material.
