No it's dangerous for your health.
You can cook it first and then freeze, if you like frozen cooked chicken (we don't).

As long as it was thawed SAFELY like in a fridge, a microwave or under RUNNING cold water, and it did not come to room temp, you can freeze it again. This per every food handler safety course I've ever taken

Microwave? shock Where it defrosts unevenly and starts cooking in spots?

From a good safety perspective, it's safe to defrost in microwave. I didn't say it would taste good. That wasn't the question.

This is from the USDA. IRRC it was a test question on a food handlers test a few years back:

Microwave Thawing
When thawing food in a microwave, plan to cook it
immediately after thawing because some areas of
the food may become warm and begin to cook during
the thawing process (bringing the food to “Danger
Zone” temperatures). Holding partially cooked food is
not recommended because any bacteria present
wouldn’t have been destroyed and, indeed, the food
may have reached optimal temperatures for bacteria
to grow.

After thawing in the microwave, always cook
immediately after, whether microwave cooking,
by conventional oven, or grilling.
Foods thawed in the microwave should be
cooked before refreezing.

I believe only if it's been defrosted in the fridge, and make sure to factor in the amount of time it was defrosted for, so if it was defrosted for a whole day it will have one day less until it goes bad when you next defrost it.

If it's largely defrosted, I'd always cook or bake it completely and then re-freeze. That's the safest way to do it. If however most of it stayed frozen anyway and only the corners got a bit soft, I think it can be re-frozen raw.
