I woke up this morning & when I put my feet on the ground my left foot pain started shooting....help
By my pinky toe a little lower down ( side of foot) when ever I walk/put pressure on it I feel unbearable pain
Any idea as to what this can be?
What kind of dr. deals w/ these stuff?

Podiatrist.
Sounds like plantar fasciitis except that plantar fasciitis hurts on the sole of the foot. Typically pain is felt upon getting up in the morning as soon as the foot hits the floor.
Treatment includes icing and stretching exercises.

Hate to scare you but osteomyelitis? I know someone who had it and this was the sign- it hurt to walk on their foot. If it hurts after a short while go to urgent care since it's a Sunday- they should do blood work and X-rays to rule this and other bone issues out.

I had something similar, first we thought it might be gout, but that didn't really make sense... it turned out to be an infection but it was strange because it only turned red and felt warm a few days later, the initial thing was just pain when I first woke up and stood on it.
Hope this helps.
Refuah shelaima!

Go to your general practitioner first and let them refer you to the right specialist. If you develop a fever as well go immediately to the ER.

Just a little update went to podiatrist & said area seemed a lititle swollen & b"h nothing is broken or sprained. Just seems that I'm not wearing very supportive shoes & esp my feet r high arch... it needs to be sported well. Like a good sneaker esp since am preschool teacher & walk a lot! !!!
And I shud take aleve 2 times a day...

Sounds good. You are up early. I don't know if you ever had a foot injury before. You are really lucky not to need a cast/boot for yom tov. Just for curiosity do you mind sharing which Dr you used?
