Hi,
Imamothers please help. Where do I go for weekday little girls skirts and dresses? It seems like carters, h and m, and old navy generally hit above her knee. I don't want to buy and when she grows a little for it to look like she is wearing a mini skirt. I live close to brooklyn and can shop online.
Thank you

Is she super thin? If not size up.
Most dresses are fine a size up.
My kid is 4 she wears a size 6. Carters gap old navy ha&m..... check online, some dresses are shorter than others.
That was my experience with dresses. I don't buy skirts for my kids (2.5 & 4)

what's your price range?
have you tried hanna anderson
for example
http://www.hannaandersson.com/.....rt=25
personally what I do is get hand me downs for most weekday skirts and dresses. I find that skirts hold up better that shirts and can often be handed down. For example I have a very pretty denim jumper from gap for my 3 yer old that is over 6 years old that I bought for peanuts at a yard sale. I think the style used to be longer then it is now. You can ask around if anyone has clothing either to give away or sell.
Most of her clothing is from a hand me down wardrobe that I b"H recently got from a friend, I am incredibly grateful!
I pass it "forward" by giving away my kids outgrown clothing as well.

If you can get to Brooklyn lulu has long enough dresses at decent prices compared to other local shops.
