Looking for someone who knows how to do alterations for a plus size woman. I have slight shoulders and heavy upper arms (compared to my size) and most of my clothing need the sleeves taken out, shoulders taken in and then the sleeves put back in leaving enough room for my upper arms. This is more complicated than doing a hem so I want someone good but reasonable.
I went through all the posts in this forum and have a list of 15+ names but have no idea who is good and nice. To complicate things, my mother would like to come with me to get some work done and she can't climb stairs. I would appreciate personal recommendations.

I can’t comment specifically for plus size, but Nicole at Michael’s cleaners in Howell is very good in general. And no stairs.

Rookie Zuckerman (formerly of Sew Much More) does beautiful alterations and is a super nice person. I can't comment specifically on plus sizes, though.
