I love this is us but I can't see my dh enjoying it. It's very raw and emotional.
Friends is a fantastic show. Though I had to push myself in the beginning because it started filming a long while ago so it was a bit outdated. Once you watch enough and connect with the characters though it's great.
The Wall is an excellent game show. I'm usually so not a fan of game shows but this one is incredible. They choose people who have done good for humanity to play on the show. It's usually a couple or siblings. Really funny, suspenseful and sometimes emotional.
Superstore is funny and light.

Hulu is 11.99 a month for an ad free experience. Or 7.99 with ads. Totally worth the extra 4 bucks for no ads.

Friday Night Lights is excellent. It's from the same producer, and shares many actors from Parenthood. Totally different story line, but it has a similar feel.
This is Us is good, but can sometimes get a bit too high drama for me. It can seem a bit contrived.
Life In Pieces has it's moments, but honestly was a bit raunchy for me at times.
Gilmore Girls is fun, but good luck getting your husband into it 
Switched at Birth felt too teenagerish to me, so I got bored after a bit.
Big Bang Theory is fun, if you just want some mindless laughs for 20 minutes at a time.
