Please help me. How is the common opinion that chassidish women dress provocatively because of their polished look?
I am chabad, so we don't dress like the rest of the chassidim sects. I always admired the fact that they manage to stay so tznius yet not look frumpy. To me that seems like the goal of tznius.
That some of them are provocative by nature and it comes out in their dress is no reason to smear the whole beauty of their high end tznius.
Yes, they look better then those in a long jean skirt and a t-shirt. To say
They are provocative and s-xy is baffling to me.

It's not a common opinion at all.
I'm guessing that those who are of the opinion that Chassidish women dress provocatively are looking at a subsect of the community, the "modern Chassidish" women, who do allow themselves an overall s-xier look. But the average Chassidish women we think of when we say Chassidish? Nope.
